- Why don't you just give it a try with
sqlplus "/ as sysdba" and let us know if you face any problem.#2; Sat, 23 Feb 2008 19:22:00 GMT
- Hi J,
when i login , it goes to default directory /home/dssmak (my id is dssmak)
when issue sqlplus '/as sysdba' it return as
-bash: sqlplus: command not found
however, i have checked other forum response and try out the solution and it works. this is what i do..
cd to ORACLE_HOME directory
then i able to sqlplus '/as sysdba'
but still want to find out how to do auto script without have to export ORACLE_HOME every time login with my own ID. do u know?

- keep them in ur .bash_profile [ its in our home directory]
This .bash_profile will be executed each time you login to the server, so you will not have to export it explicitly.
