how to interpret the execution plan
how to interpret the execution plan generated when we set the autotrace option to on and execute a SQL query.
the output shows which tables had to undergo full table scan and which tables were searched on the row_ids. What I am not able to understand so far is the "cost" that is associated with each query.
Someone Please help me out in this. If anyone knows where I can find some literature on this, please let me know.
